Sweet & Spicy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Trick or treat! These crunchy seeds have some sweet heat.

Before carving a Jack O’Lantern you have to scoop out all the pumpkin guts. But don’t throw away those seeds! Clean them off and roast with a mix of sweet heat: our Chili-Garlic seasoning, fish sauce, sugar, and paprika. They’re so good they’ll disappear faster than the Halloween candy.

    cup fresh pumpkin or other squash seeds*

    tablespoon olive oil

  • 1

    tablespoon sugar

  • 2

    teaspoons fish sauce

  • 1

    teaspoon paprika

  • 1 ½

    teaspoons Cravings’ Chili-Garlic seasoning (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder and ½ teaspoon Thai chili flakes, hot chili flakes, or cayenne)

*One medium pumpkin yields about 1–1 ¼ cups of seeds.
