- 4 Tbsp seasoning
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 4-pound whole chicken
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Thoroughly combine seasoning and softened butter.
- Dry chicken well with paper towels.
- Rub seasoned butter over the entire chicken and under the skin of breasts and thighs.
- Bake in a roasting pan or large casserole dish for 1 hour, 30 minutes or until internal temperature in the thickest part of thigh reaches 165°F. Skin should be well browned and juices should run clear.
Chrissy Tip: Let chicken rest for 10–15 minutes, tended with foil, before carving to keep it juicy!
