Our Popcorn Seasonings Also Make Breakfast Better

Our Popcorn Seasonings Also Make Breakfast Better
Share

Who says our popcorn seasonings are just for snacktime? You may be surprised that our new savory and sweet trios can actually spice up your mornings. We’ve got ideas for shaking up your breakfast routine with dishes like cacio e pepe avocado toast and blueberry muffin oatmeal. Whether you’re a sweet or savory person, these flavors are guaranteed to make the start of your day infinitely better.

Cacio e Pepe Soft-Scrambled Eggs

Chrissy was experimenting with the new seasonings and created cacio e pepe soft-scrambled eggs that are easy and cheesy. Just scramble three eggs with a splash of milk or cream, add a knob of butter to a large nonstick skillet. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly—really, never stop stirring!—until smooth and creamy. Sprinkle to your heart’s content with Parmesan & black pepper seasoning.

Fried Eggs with Ranch-y Drizzle

There are bits of garlic and onion in the ranchiest ranch seasoning that can burn if you put them in a hot pan, so to infuse that creamy, herby flavor into your morning eggs, make an infused oil. Mix ¼ cup of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning in a bowl, then drizzle over eggs and a carb of your choice (like a bagel or toast). You could also sprinkle some seasoning directly into scrambled eggs. The extra oil will keep at room temperature for at least a week, ideal for adding to salads or seasoning popcorn, of course.

Blueberry Muffin Oatmeal

Oatmeal is bland on purpose; it’s a blank canvas for any flavors. We love sprinkling our blueberry muffin seasoning on top of oatmeal and then adding fresh blueberries on top. Adding a pat of butter wouldn’t hurt either…

Cacio e Pepe Avocado Toast

Our Parmesan & black pepper seasoning brings cheesiness and a little pop of spice. Since this already tastes like cacio e pepe pasta in popcorn form, take it to the next level by making cacio e pepe avo toast. Mix some of the spice into smashed avocado, schmear on toast, and add extra shaved Parmesan on top.

BBQ Hash Browns

Next time you make hash browns or crispy fingerling potatoes for a breakfast side dish, sprinkle in some of our sweet & tangy BBQ seasoning. Add fried eggs on top for a complete meal.

Maple Doughnut French Toast Sticks

When you want doughnuts but you don’t have any at home, transform French toast into the maple bar-churro hybrid of your dreams. Cut bread (we love brioche for this) into 1” sticks, coat in a mixture of beaten eggs and milk, and cook in a skillet over medium-low heat with butter until golden brown on each side. Combine ¼ cup sugar, 1 tablespoon maple doughnut seasoning, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl, and then immediately after they come out of the pan, roll each French toast stick in the mixture. Ta-da! Churro-like French toast sticks with maple flavor—you may not even need syrup.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Yogurt Parfait

Just one taste and you’ll forget you’re not actually eating chocolate chip cookie batter straight out of the mixing bowl. Add a few shakes of cookie dough seasoning into plain or vanilla yogurt and layer with chocolate chips, granola—or cookies, if you’re feeling wild—and strawberries in a bowl or glass. It’s dessert for breakfast...or breakfast for dessert.
