Cozy, savory, and just the right amount of spicy—this casserole is comfort food with an umami kick. Juicy chicken thighs get seared golden, then simmered in smoky bacon, tender veggies, and our bold Spicy Miso Alfredo sauce until they’re fall-apart delicious. Shiitake mushrooms add earthiness, a drizzle of chili crisp turns up the heat, and a sprinkle of green onions keeps things fresh. It’s weeknight easy, weekend worthy, and basically begging to be scooped straight from the pan.

2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 ½  lbs skin-on, bone in chicken thighs, 6 to 8 pieces

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

4 slices thick cut bacon, cut into chunks

2 Tbsp butter

1 large onion, chopped

1 large carrot, peeled and chopped into chunks

1 celery stalk, chopped into chunks

8 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced

1 jar Cravings Spicy Miso Alfredo

1 ½  cup low sodium chicken broth

½ tsp dried thyme

3 Tbsp  green onions, sliced thin, to sprinkle as garnish

2 Tbsp chili crisp to drizzle
