This kind of weather makes us want to cozy up with a warm bowl of comfort...ideally one that isn't a huge hassle to prepare. This easy pasta recipe is a riff on an Italian-American classic but with the brilliant swap out of gochujang chili paste instead of tomato sauce for a spicy kick. The best part? Chopping is optional! Plus it's ready in less than 30 minutes. What's not to love?
8 oz packaged rigatoni pasta
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
16 oz mild Italian sausage
3 tablespoons gochujang paste
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 ½ cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon mushroom powder or chicken bouillon powder
Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, freshly grated
Chopped Italian parsley for garnish (optional)
Zhush up simple grilled corn with Thai flavors.
Unconventional hacks… delicious outcomes.
A sweet & spicy twist on fajitas!
Pigs in blankets, but make it fashion.
