If you like our Vodka Watermelon Slushies, you’re going to love these new Pineapple Basil White Wine Slushies. This easy, breezy, refreshing drink is a little less boozy than our watermelon cocktail, using your favorite dry-yet-fruity white wine. This recipe is for one cocktail, but it easily scales up for a party—you can fit five servings in a standard blender. Add a fresh pineapple slice if you have some on hand, and add as much basil as you want for the desired level of herbaceous freshness.
1 ½ cups frozen pineapple
½ cup ice
¾ cup dry white wine, such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
2 tablespoons sugar (or more or less to taste)
+ Small handful basil leaves, plus more for garnish
+ Fresh pineapple slice, for garnish
Puttin’ on the spritz! This slightly bitter, fizzy Italian drink will wake up your palate as a perfect pre-dinner cocktail.
Say cheers without the booze!
Cool down with a triple threat of refreshing: mint, ginger, and a popsicle of your choice.
A refreshing drink, just in time for summer.
