Like a veggie burger, but better!
About two days post Thanksgiving, we’re usually all tuckered out on turkey. But what to do with all those other leftovers? The pile of mashed potatoes, the crudite plate, the salad lettuce you didn’t use…this recipe utilizes all the leftover veggies to make delicious mashed potato patties that are spiced up with a swipe of sriracha mayo. It even uses up all those leftover dinner rolls! Genius.

teaspoon Dijon mustard
clove garlic, minced
For the patties:
cup vegetable oil, plus more for oiling your hands and frying the patties
jumbo onion, sliced

Cast iron is the secret to restaurant-quality textures: think crispy fried eggs, perfectly seared steak, and crusty cornbread. We love how it heats up evenly and lasts forever. Now we’ve leveled up our cast iron skillet with an enamel-coated version that’s finished in an eye-catching lavender color. The nonstick surface makes it easy to clean and is perfect for cooking eggs, pancakes, meats, and veggies. Also, the pan transfers to the oven seamlessly to finish off frittatas, pizzas, and more.
The three musketeers of the kitchen—a chef’s knife for slicing, dicing, and all things prep, a serrated knife for slicing through bread or delicate items like fresh tomatoes, and a paring knife for peeling and making controlled, precise cuts—are all you need to handle most daily cooking needs, and an ideal trio to kick off a knife collection.Full-tang blades run to the base of the handles for optimum control and balanced weight. The triple-riveted ashwood handles look cute on a tablescape, without having to buy separate knives for serving.
Make a statement (literally) with these lavender dessert plates. Made with durable stoneware, the set makes a perfect holiday gift for your favorite sassy host or hostess. And bonus: the phrase in the middle will let you and your guests know when to restock the plates with snacks.
