2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, plus more for buttering the pan
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1½ cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon instant espresso powder, dissolved in 2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
¾ cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
⅛ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup chopped toasted pecans
Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
